Did teenage Kayleigh dream of being a famous Youtuber? Sure. That’s not what this is about. I’m currently working on a documentary featuring 60 year old archived home videos. I watched the footage with my husband and we both agreed - we need to film ourselves so one day our family can look back on our home videos too.
I live far away from my family, really far, and although we videocall every week and update eachother, it’s not the same as actually seeing what goes on. My family have never been to Mexico so I think it’s hard for them to picture what life is like for me here, thus the channel.
It’s mostly just vlogs of us living normal lives, with some kind of ‘educational’ information about the cost of living or other things in Mexico. With time we plan to film our travels and BTS of shoots and things I’m working on but it’s basically a way for me to share with my friends and family back home what I’m up to and hopefully people will find it interesting.
Here’s some of our first videos (we’re still figuring out our style, I promise it gets better as you go).
